screw conveyor, also known as screw feeder, is widely used in various industrial sectors, such as building materials, electric power, chemical industry, metallurgy, coal, aluminum magnesium, machinery, light industry, grain and the food industry that should immediately stop the use of experimental machines; It is suitable for conveying powdery, granular and small pieces of materials, such as cement, pulverized coal, grain, chemical fertilizer, ash, sand, etc. at a horizontal or less than 20 ° angle, and the material temperature is below 200 ℃

the screw feeder should not transport perishable, viscous and caking materials, because these materials will stick to the screw during transportation, and then rotate without moving forward, or form a material jam at the hanging bearing, which makes the screw feeder unable to work normally

the diameter of the screw is from 200 mm to 500 mm, and there are five specifications in total. The length is from 4 meters to 70 meters, and there is one gear every 0.5 meters. The selection meets the standard nominal length, and special needs can be put forward separately in the selection section

2. Features:

the spiral feeder has novel structure and advanced technical indicators. The head and tail bearings are moved out of the shell. The middle suspension bearing adopts two structures of rolling and sliding, which can be interchanged. Both are equipped with dust-proof sealing devices, and the discharge end is equipped with cleaning devices. The whole machine has low noise, strong adaptability, convenient operation and maintenance, and flexible layout of inlet and outlet positions

there are two driving modes of screw feeder:

C1 system - when the length of screw feeder is less than 35m, it is driven at one end

c2 system - when the screw machine is greater than 35m, it is driven by two ends

the types of the middle suspension bearing of the screw feeder are divided into:

m1 - rolling suspension bearing, which adopts 80000 type sealed bearing, and the shaft cover has a dust-proof sealing structure. It is commonly used in places where it is not easy to refuel, do not refuel, or the oil pollutes the materials. The sealing effect is good, the service life of the suspension bearing is long, and the temperature of the transported materials is ≤ 80 ℃ (it may not be noted when ordering)

m2 - it is a sliding crane bearing with a dust-proof sealing device, which is usually used to transport materials with high temperature (> 80 ℃) or liquid materials

key points for model selection of screw conveyor

1. Conveying capacity: the conveying capacity of screw feeder refers to the amount of materials conveyed per unit time. When transporting bulk materials, it is calculated by the mass or volume of materials transported per hour; When transporting finished goods, it is calculated by the number of pieces transported per hour. When matching with linear vibrating screen, rotary vibrating screen, ultrasonic vibrating screen and other vibrating screen equipment, it is necessary to calculate the feeding volume of the vibrating screen and control the conveying volume. Most conveyors should consider whether to use with other production equipment before design and production, so as to reasonably design the model of conveyor

2. Conveying speed: improving the conveying speed can improve the conveying capacity. When the conveyor belt is used as the traction part and the conveying length is large, the conveying speed increases day by day. However, high-speed belt conveyors need to pay attention to vibration, noise, starting, braking and other issues. For the method of testing the tear strength with the chain tensile testing machine: the tear test of the tensile testing machine is to calculate the tear strength value. For the conveyor as a traction part, the conveying speed should not be too large to prevent increasing the dynamic load. At the same time, the structural health monitoring system for process operation adopts advanced sensors and microelectromechanical system (MEMS) technology. The feeding machine vigorously introduces a batch of high-end new material professionals, and the conveying speed should be determined according to the production process requirements

3. Component size: the component size of the conveyor includes conveyor belt width, strip width, hopper volume, pipe diameter, container size, etc. The size of these components directly affects the conveying capacity of the screw feeder

4. Conveying length and inclination: the length and inclination of the conveying line directly affect the total resistance and required power of the conveyor. At present, there are many types of conveyors, including direct parallel feeding and some with a certain inclination angle, so these operating conditions should be explained when selecting the screw feeder

5. Adjustable speed motor and ordinary motor can be selected for screw feeder motor to control conveying speed and hourly conveying volume

6. Whether a hopper is added at the feeding port and the size of the hopper. (end)
